We had a Sunday wedding this weekend, which are becoming more and more popular.

Set The Mood Decor provided a white voile backdrop; this is a different style that we do not normally offer but the bride and groom thought that it was very suitable and would look great, it turned out fabulous and may be a new feature backdrop.

We also did draping on the head table and cake table.  The bride a groom wanted their head table to be fancy but still a representation of their two cultures coming together.  The really wanted to incorporate their country flags, which was a first for me!  They were planning on hanging the flags up after the wedding, as a nice memory in their home.  I was skeptical about this concept but I think it turned out great!! and it was so original!!

We had the pleasure of doing many weddings this weekend but the one that best represented the fall season, was this one.

Set The Mood Decor provided chair covers, fall orange organza sashes, head table draping with icicle lights and white voile.  We also put out all of the extra fall “stuff” that the bride provided, which really gives finished touches and makes the room complete.

We waited a very long time to decorate for one of our weddings this weekend and it was super exciting!!  The wedding took place and Hernder Estate Winery, we provide the plum organza sashes and the head table and cake table draping with the icicle lights.  Icicle lights are the way to go at this venue as the rest of the room has the icicle lighting as well.

The master pieces of decor that just made the room was the centerpieces!  To keep with the theme we went with mason jars with lights and simple crystals in them, large birch sticks (yes, they are brown naturally) with individually wired white and dark purple dendrobium orchids, it was the brides idea to hang the table numbers from the branches.  These are delicate but yet rustic!!!

Congrats to the bride and groom, who had absolute perfect weather for their outdoor ceremony!!!

It is rare that we get asked to do a full black draping for the head table and cake table so we were more than happy to do this for the bride and groom for this weekend.  The bride had purchased some nice bling candle holders and wanted to mimic them onto her head table.  I think it turned out wonderful.

Set The Mood Decor provided full black draping on the head table and cake table with spot light accents.  We hung clear crystals at the focal points and completed the look with large crystal brooches.  This was the perfect look for the Stone Mill Inn, St. Catharines, with their grey and black room, in matched perfectly.

It was our pleasure this weekend to decorate for Sheena and her now Husband, congrats to the happy couple.  Sheena said at the end of the night everything was PERFECT, the whole day, which is so nice to hear!!!

Set The Mood Decor provided white satin pillowcase style chair covers with lavender satin sashes.  The Lavender color was brought up to the tables by using a lavender satin table runner, this just gave a nice amount of color without overpowering the room.

We did our simple white voile draping on the head table and cake table with skinny satin swag to add a pop of the lavender to the head table and cake table, the look was completed with our crystal brooches.  We have our LED spot lights for lighting under the head table.

The additional purple lighting was provided by the dj, the centerpieces where are done by the grooms mother – these extras where the perfect touch!  Venue: Club Capri in Thorold.

So many great shots from this weekend.  We had a fabulous time decorating for Erica and Jason’s second wedding and first at home reception!  It was nice to do something so fresh with some great spring/summer colors.  The location was the Waterside Inn, Mississauga; which has some excellent views of the lake.

Set The Mood Decor provided custom flower balls, which are alternating on the tables; ivory, peach, orange and ivory, peach, sage green.

Working with the room color instead of fighting it; we added sage green polyester napkins with a regular fold but hanging over the table, which you can see very nicely with the fabulous addition of the clear chairs.

This wedding features our New Head Table Option, which is elegant, streamlined, simplistic with a great feel of romance.  As you can see by some of the close-ups there is a strip of very small rosette’s across the top of the fabric for that perfect elegant finish.  Working with the same look we provided a simplistic backdrop that provided the same feel as the head table.  What a romantic look!

What an exciting event to feature! Congrats to the bride and groom on their special day!!

Where to start…….we helped decorate at 4 weddings this longgggg weekend!

The first wedding was for a wonderful bride Marla at White Oaks in Niagara On The Lake.  Set The Mood Decor provided our fancy style backdrop with white head table  / cake table and receiving table draping.  We added crystal embellishments at the focal points to complete the look, led spot lights under the tables and rose petals.

We can’t forget the plum organza runners on the tables, which just provided that little touch of color.

Saturday was also a Black and White themed wedding at Club Capri in Thorold.

Set The Mood Decor provided; white satin chair covers with black satin sashes.  As well as head table and cake table draping in sheer white linen with icicle lights and some black satin swag to complete the look.

We decorated our first Royal Blue wedding this weekend.  This bride is ahead of the trend as royal blue is supposed to be a big trend for the 2014 season, so I am certain we will be seeing lots more of this color!!

This wedding was at the Best Western Cairn Croft in Niagara Falls.  Set The Mood Decor provided the white satin chair covers with royal blue organza sashes.  We also did the head table and cake table draping with icicle lights and the royal blue skinny organza swags on the head table just to bring everything together.
