Paper Flower Heaven

The ice storm weekend was very interesting!!! We had gorgeous fresh hydrangeas and roses with paper flowers; hundreds of paper flowers. The brides mom hand crafted them all.

This was our very first backdrop and decor setup with no power. It’s a good thing cellphones have flash lights!!!!

The bride alternated tables with different linens and centerpieces which I love, when done well. Our gold candelabras vs. flowers and champagne satin table cloths vs. ivory lace overlays.

A simple ivory backdrop to cover some doors and a head table to match the rest of the decor. Not to mention a key piece, ivory satin pillowcase chair covers.

The bouquets and boutonnieres also had paper flowers with roses.

Congrats to this amazing couple!

We are starting off 2018 wedding season with a bang!  A full service wedding for a wonderful couple on Easter weekend.

Shades and shades of purple throughout the large tall, fresh flower centerpieces.  The height of these beauties create such depth and drama.

Bridal bouquet to match, with a few more delicate pieces for a little softer look to go with the fabulous sparkle of a wedding dress.

A ceremony backdrop, streamlined black chair covers and a gold sequin table cloth are making this indoor ceremony feel rich and complete.

A large fancy style, ivory reception backdrop and more sequins make the focal point of the room dramatic and the main stage.

Last weekend was a full service wedding; which we love creating, bridal flowers, centrepieces, ceremony and reception decor.

The ceiling was adorned with 60+ white lanterns.

Centerpieces with golf balls in the bases, curly willows and white/plum dendrobium orchids.

A sweetheart table and backdrop with icicle lights. Plum satin sashes tied sideways. There was also a ceremony backdrop outside on the golf course.

Bridal bouquets in plum and purple tones to match the theme.

Congrats to this amazing couple that where so relaxed and really took the time to enjoy themselves and their family.

We wanted to share this gold and navy beauty. This bride had her mind set from the beginning, referencing a look she found on Pinterest and sticking with it.

We provided white satin pillowcase style chair covers, gold sequin runners with a navy blue sash down the center and gold sequin table cloths for the head table and let’s not forget the gold chargers!!!!

It’s beautiful when a look really comes together.

This long weekend we had the pleasure of adding some elegance to the beautiful rustic barn at Hernder Winery.

A fancy style backdrop in white with some up lighting. A head table and cake table draped in white with icicle lights. A three panel ceiling draping to complete the look.

Balls Falls – A Love Affair

The most perfect weather for a perfect couple!  We are so happy to share last weekends wedding at Balls Falls.

We had to create an open backdrop feature behind the head table, as this is the main focal point and looks stunning when it is played up with draping, in this case white and blush.  Our faux greenery garland with fresh flower accessories was the cherry on the cake for completing the look.

A show stopper blush sequin table cloth for the bride and grooms sweetheart table and some nice textured upgraded white linens for the bridal party; completing the look with greenery and flowers across the front of the table.

We needed some dance floor lighting, to Set The Mood of course!

We provided matching bridal party flowers and our first flower crown.

Congrats to this amazing couple and their families who celebrated this special day!

The Beautiful White Wall

The bride had one request that was a MUST!!! cover the whole divider wall with white material.  So we did it!!!  A fancy style design and uplighting broke up the straight material and created a focal point for the head table.  Head Table Draping and more uplighting completed the design.

But that wasn’t all…….

We also had the pleasure of setting up for the ceremony, with a ceremony style backdrop as well two altar arrangements with some sparkle floral lace overlays and fresh flowers; hydrangeas, roses, stock and silver dollar.

The centerpieces were composed of the same flowers but with a few darker tones of purple to create some nice contrast.

It was one of the most challenging weddings but also one of the most rewarding.  Congrats to the happy couple, we wish them all the best!

What to say about this beauty…..

This wedding had every romantic detail the happy couple could think of!

Icicle Lights for the head table and backdrop; a completely new style backdrop that we had never done, gold chiavari chairs, gold charger plates, ceiling draping and then all of the small details that bring everything together.

Wow – this couples table #’s are amazing!  The flowers as always complete the entire look; there was a lot of flowers!!!!  This was a show stopper!

This blog post is well overdue as time is always getting away from us; the Holiday season, the spring wedding show, a little vacation time and then full booking season; our blog has been neglected but we are back, as this season is in full motion.

A beautiful wedding and couple from last year that never got posted.

The ceremony had all of our favorite things; chair covers, a little decor for the aisle and an altar.  In this case the altar was created by using what was already on the venue wall we just added a little extra with faux altar arrangements on draped stands.

We then moved up stairs to a room that is perfect for a smaller wedding.  It has a view of Niagara Falls that is stunning.  A backdrop, head table draping and flashy sequins for the cake table created a focal point for the bride and groom.  Chair covers of course to create the upscale wedding look and upgraded plum satin table cloths.  You can never go wrong with candles but to enhance the centerpiece we added some fresh hydrangeas and lavender roses at the base.

Intimate Canopy – Vintage Romantic

We love a sweetheart table and an intimate canopy makes it much more romantic.

What can we say about the bride this past weekend, except she loves romantic, vintage, lush, elegant designs.

We started with a clean white classic ceremony, with small details that tied everything together. White draped ceremony backdrop with a white draped signing table and some white sashes to accessorize the aisle chairs.  White table clothes on cruisers to display the brides perfect programs.  A flower arrangement at the entrance and on the signing table full of white and blush flowers as well as some flowers on the backdrop to complete the look.

The brides and bridesmaids bouquets were full of lush flowers with tiny details throughout.  The flowers included; garden roses, spray roses, astilbe, freesia, dusty miller, dahlia, astrantia, ranunculus, scabiosa and seeded euc.  The bride loves flowers so much that she wanted to do oversized bouquets for herself and her bridesmaids.  There can really never be too many flowers!

The canopy!!!  What else can be said about a romantic sweetheart table and canopy, except what a nice romantic way to spend dinner with your new partner.

We were happy to provide a champagne canopy with gold lace trim to match our gold lace overlays.  Tying the canopy into the overall look of the guest tables.  The guest tables had our blush satin table clothes with ivory/gold lace overlays and a blush satin napkin.  The centerpieces were our silver candelabras, mercury gold votives with blush garden roses in them.  Let’s not forget the gold chiavari chairs, the bride had to have these chairs to complete her look and it was a great choice!!!!!

This gorgeous vintage wedding took place at the Prince of Whales in Niagara On The Lake.  We wish the happy couple all of the best for the future.
