It is rare that we get asked to do a full black draping for the head table and cake table so we were more than happy to do this for the bride and groom for this weekend. The bride had purchased some nice bling candle holders and wanted to mimic them onto her head table. I think it turned out wonderful.

Set The Mood Decor provided full black draping on the head table and cake table with spot light accents. We hung clear crystals at the focal points and completed the look with large crystal brooches. This was the perfect look for the Stone Mill Inn, St. Catharines, with their grey and black room, in matched perfectly.

The last wedding we decorated this Saturday was with one of our popular colors, Plum! We provided white satin chair covers and plum satin sashes along with head table and cake table draping in sheer white voile, spot lights, plum satin accents at the focal points and some crystal brooches to complete the look.

We really love a clean and simple look.

It was our pleasure this weekend to decorate for Sheena and her now Husband, congrats to the happy couple. Sheena said at the end of the night everything was PERFECT, the whole day, which is so nice to hear!!!

Set The Mood Decor provided white satin pillowcase style chair covers with lavender satin sashes. The Lavender color was brought up to the tables by using a lavender satin table runner, this just gave a nice amount of color without overpowering the room.

We did our simple white voile draping on the head table and cake table with skinny satin swag to add a pop of the lavender to the head table and cake table, the look was completed with our crystal brooches. We have our LED spot lights for lighting under the head table.

The additional purple lighting was provided by the dj, the centerpieces where are done by the grooms mother – these extras where the perfect touch! Venue: Club Capri in Thorold.

Set The Mood Decor had the pleasure of decorating at Queens Landing in Niagara On The Lake, today. We provided our white satin pillowcase style chair covers with black organza sashes. Head table and cake table draping in sheer white voile with spot lights and black organza in the focal points along with crystal embellishments to finish the look.

We also had the pleasure of creating a beautiful bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets. The brides bouquet was approx. 50 mini black calla lilies with black feathers around it as well as black satin ribbon. The bridesmaids had 4 large white calla lilies with black satin ribbon.

So many great shots from this weekend. We had a fabulous time decorating for Erica and Jason’s second wedding and first at home reception! It was nice to do something so fresh with some great spring/summer colors. The location was the Waterside Inn, Mississauga; which has some excellent views of the lake.

Set The Mood Decor provided custom flower balls, which are alternating on the tables; ivory, peach, orange and ivory, peach, sage green.

Working with the room color instead of fighting it; we added sage green polyester napkins with a regular fold but hanging over the table, which you can see very nicely with the fabulous addition of the clear chairs.

This wedding features our New Head Table Option, which is elegant, streamlined, simplistic with a great feel of romance. As you can see by some of the close-ups there is a strip of very small rosette’s across the top of the fabric for that perfect elegant finish. Working with the same look we provided a simplistic backdrop that provided the same feel as the head table. What a romantic look!

One of our Sunday weddings was a plum/bling wedding.

This wedding was at the Stone Mill Inn in St. Catharines. We setup for the ceremony in one room, white our white satin pillowcase style chair covers and the bling clips wrapped around them. (The bride made the fabulous aisle runner)!

Then the rooms were flipped and turned into the reception area. We then provided draping and spot lights on the head table and cake table. To complete the entire look our crystal centerpieces, with mirror underneath and white flower ball with small purple flowers accented inside.

Set The Mood Decor’s second wedding we are featuring from this weekend is our first wedding featuring our chandelier backdrop. The chandelier for the backdrop was also showcased with our mini chandeliers for the head table, all of these lights had mini LED lighting inside them. The LED lighting flowed to under the head table as well, bringing the whole look together.

Set The Mood Decor provided the white satin pillowcase style chair covers, which tie nicely in the back to create an elegant flowing look. The head table / cake table – candy table draping and the receiving table draping. With skinny light pink satin swag and crystal brooches to complete the look. Our Bling money box was used on the money table.

This weekend was the beginning of a super busy wedding season!!! The setup was a classic white look, icicle lights on the head table and cake table with some black and rhinestone embellishments at the focal points. We also had the opportunity to do our triangle style backdrop, which is not ordered to often, so it was a fabulous change. We added some of the rhinestone mesh to the backdrop to complete the look, plus it matched the brides centerpieces. Our finishing touches were the vases for the bouquets at the head table and tulip petals in purple and white. Thank you to the bride and groom and congrats! The venue was Club Italia in Niagara Falls.

Wow – it has been a very long time since I have done a blog post. To start of 2013 we got to decorate for an absolutely fabulous lady – Diane. I first met Diane when I decorated and did flowers for her son and daughter in law. When she started planning her wedding she thought of me; which was a pleasant surprise.

Once we had our consultation I knew Diane was all about pink, bling, sweetheart roses and just plain glam!!!! So that is what we gave her! Set The Mood Decor provided the backdrop for the ceremony, with bling at the focal points. The fresh flower arrangements and the stands, draped and all blinged up with rhinestone mesh at the top of the stands and in the arrangements. The candelabra’s where the brides great find, which looked amazing. We also made all of the little pink pew bouquets which where used on the head tables after the ceremony.

In the reception room we just did a little extra adding the ivory organza sashes tied in bows and the bling chair wraps.

It was my pleasure working with Diane and being able to make her ceremony come to life. I wish her and her husband all the best!!
