Weddings are a celebration of love, and every detail contributes to the overall vision of the day. Recently, we had the privilege of working with a bride who envisioned a romantic atmosphere filled with soft colors. It was an honor to bring her dream to life through our floral designs.

One of the highlights of our collaboration was crafting the bridal bouquets. We carefully selected blooms that embodied the bride’s vision, focusing on delicate hues that would complement her overall aesthetic. The result was a stunning collection of bouquets that not only enhanced her beauty but also reflected the gentle elegance she desired.

In addition to the bridal bouquets, we created large fresh flower arrangements for the ceremony. These arrangements were designed to be both breathtaking and versatile, as we believe in the importance of sustainability in our floral practices. After the ceremony, we seamlessly transitioned these stunning pieces to the reception area, ensuring that the beauty of the flowers continued to enhance the celebration throughout the evening.

To further elevate the ambiance, we incorporated light blue goblets into the table settings. These elegant touches added a pop of color that harmonized beautifully with the soft floral arrangements, creating a cohesive and inviting atmosphere for guests.

As the sun began to set, the venue transformed into a romantic haven. The ceiling draping and carefully placed lights contributed to a soft, ethereal feel, casting a warm glow over the festivities. This thoughtful lighting design not only highlighted the floral arrangements but also created an intimate setting for the couple and their loved ones to celebrate their union.

In conclusion, we are grateful to have been part of this beautiful wedding journey. From the bridal bouquets to the ceremony arrangements, every detail was meticulously crafted to align with the bride’s vision of soft colours and romantic elegance. We look forward to continuing to create magical moments for couples as they embark on their new adventures together.

I love classic white weddings but there is nothing like a black wedding!!!

We had the pleasure of providing black ceiling draping for this stunning wedding. Draping a ceiling gives the room elegance, flow and can completely change a room. This couple wanted a moody black feel for their special day. The bride did all of the flowers herself!!!! The candelabra’s where provided by @latkatlinens

The black chiffon runners really completed the look and helped tie everything together.

Let’s begin with the ceremony. The couple desired a Chuppah that could accommodate a grand Jewish ceremony, complete with a voluminous wedding gown. We envisioned an open Chuppah design, allowing guests to bask in the breathtaking view. To add a touch of enchantment, delicate rose petals adorned the surroundings, creating an atmosphere of pure beauty. Additionally, fresh flower accents were strategically placed at the focal points of the Chuppah, further enhancing its allure.

Moving on to the reception, the venue’s inherent charm was already awe-inspiring. However, we sought to elevate the ambiance by incorporating pillar candles on elegant gold stands, adding a touch of sophistication. Nestled between each candle, exquisite posy flower arrangements graced the tables, boasting seven stems of vibrant florals. These arrangements served as the much-desired pop of color that the bride had envisioned. Furthermore, we meticulously arranged all of the couple’s additional decor and finishing touches, ensuring every detail was flawlessly executed. The lobby and cocktail area were also meticulously accessorized, creating a seamless and captivating transition for guests.

Let us not overlook the bridal flowers, for they were a true labor of love. We dedicated ourselves to curating a harmonious blend of colors, resulting in a bouquet that was both stunning and unique. It was a rare delight to incorporate cymbidium orchids, infusing the arrangement with an exquisite touch. To our delight, we discovered a tulip that perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic, adding an element of surprise and excitement.

In summary, our experience at the Cambridge Mill was nothing short of extraordinary. From the meticulously designed Chuppah to the captivating reception decor and the exquisite bridal flowers, every aspect was thoughtfully crafted to create a truly unforgettable event.

The Black and White Trend is Making a Comeback! But is it really a trend???? Approximately a decade ago, we witnessed a surge of black and white weddings, followed by a few scattered throughout the years. Now, we find ourselves immersed in this timeless theme once more. In fact, this month alone, we have had the pleasure of organizing two stunning black and white weddings, and I must admit, I am absolutely smitten all over again.

The first wedding took place in the exquisite Grand Ballroom at White Oaks. We were delighted to enhance the ambiance with a stunning backdrop and luxurious linens for the head table.

We were honoured to collaborate with an incredible team of vendors who contributed to making this day truly unforgettable:

Talented planner: Rikki & Co.

Captivating photography by @youngglassphotography

Beautifully crafted signage by @mariaraydesigns

Exquisite floral arrangements by Bella’s Blooms

Elegant chairs provided by ARE Rentals

Chic charger plates from Nayos Rentals

Stylish glassware from Party Connection

We are eagerly anticipating the opportunity to unveil the second black and white wedding in the weeks to come.

This was our first all-inclusive wedding experience of 2023, providing all of the decor and flowers for both the ceremony and reception. For the ceremony, we adorned the pews with elegant blush roses, delicate delphinium, and subtle touches of light greenery. The altar arrangements, placed on pillars, were brimming with beautiful florals and a hint of verdant foliage. Additionally, we created a stunning arbor adorned in a profusion of flowers and soft white draping. Inside the reception space, a captivating focal wall draped in sheer white fabric created an enchanting ambiance.

The head table and cake table were adorned with striking dark gold sequin tablecloths, adding a captivating pop of color. Once the bridal party entered the reception, their bouquets were elegantly placed in water-filled vases on the head table, complemented by candles, rose petals, and a touch of delicate greenery. After the ceremony, the altar arrangements were moved behind the head table, creating a breathtaking focal point behind the newlyweds. The pew markers, now repurposed, were seamlessly incorporated into the centerpieces. These centerpieces featured pristine white and light blue hydrangeas, with blush roses adding a delightful dash of color. Finally, the arbor was transformed into a whimsical photobooth outside, providing a delightful space for guests to capture cherished memories.

The bridal flowers had a soft look which including blush roses and light blue delphiniums, white roses and a few detail flowers to create that final look. A full wall backdrop and chair covers were also added to create the elegant wedding feel.

During an all-inclusive package, Set The Mood Decor is on site at your venue, prior to the ceremony and after. I personally deliver your flowers in the morning and go over holding your bouquets, etc. Sometimes we will collect your bouquets during cocktail hour and put them in your cleaned and water-refreshed vases. We may spend time redesigning altar pieces for the head table. The list of things that I may do for an inclusive package could be extensive.

We love a sweetheart table and an intimate canopy makes it much more romantic.

What can we say about the bride this past weekend, except she loves romantic, vintage, lush, elegant designs.

We started with a clean white classic ceremony, with small details that tied everything together. White draped ceremony backdrop with a white draped signing table and some white sashes to accessorize the aisle chairs.  White table clothes on cruisers to display the brides perfect programs.  A flower arrangement at the entrance and on the signing table full of white and blush flowers as well as some flowers on the backdrop to complete the look.

The brides and bridesmaids bouquets were full of lush flowers with tiny details throughout.  The flowers included; garden roses, spray roses, astilbe, freesia, dusty miller, dahlia, astrantia, ranunculus, scabiosa and seeded euc.  The bride loves flowers so much that she wanted to do oversized bouquets for herself and her bridesmaids.  There can really never be too many flowers!

The canopy!!!  What else can be said about a romantic sweetheart table and canopy, except what a nice romantic way to spend dinner with your new partner.

We were happy to provide a champagne canopy with gold lace trim to match our gold lace overlays.  Tying the canopy into the overall look of the guest tables.  The guest tables had our blush satin table clothes with ivory/gold lace overlays and a blush satin napkin.  The centerpieces were our silver candelabras, mercury gold votives with blush garden roses in them.  Let’s not forget the gold chiavari chairs, the bride had to have these chairs to complete her look and it was a great choice!!!!!

This gorgeous vintage wedding took place at the Prince of Whales in Niagara On The Lake.  We wish the happy couple all of the best for the future.

We don’t do a lot of weddings with crystal curtains; but wow do they look great!

This was a black, white and plum wedding.  The plum was brought in with dendrobium orchids in the centerpieces with a floating candle.  Black and white was alternated throughout all of the decor.

Congrats to the happy couple, we wish them all the best!

We waited months for this past Saturday and we are so happy to share the final product with everyone.  From the very beginning this bride was so relaxed, happy and trusting, she continually said whatever you think will look great Michelle.  For an artist this is what you love to hear and it allows for those little extra touches and exciting surprises.

Ivory rushed chair covers created a clean wedding look on the chairs.  A pop of color was brought in with the coral napkins.  A large centerpiece in a wood box with a mix of whites and pinks and a pop of burgundy to bring in a darker tone and break up the pinks; some mini seeded euc just touching the tables completed the look.

A custom backdrop in our champagne material; of course leaving the pockets of the stone wall open so that they could be filled with large flower arrangements. The center of the backdrop with floral details to match the pockets and the head table.  The head table table had champagne draping to match and small floral accents across the entire front to tie everything together.  A fancy lace champagne overlay for the cake table – to pop the cake that matched perfectly.

We will let the photo’s speak for themselves!

Congrats to this amazing couple!
