This weekend was purple, backdrop and bling!

Set The Mood Decor decorated for this fabulous wedding at; St Gregory the Great Slovenian Church in Hamilton.  We provided a backdrop, head table, cake table and receiving table draping; chair covers with bling clips, some purple satin accents as well as crystal brooches to complete the look.

In the pictures below we have featured the before and after of where the backdrop was located.  They wanted the traditional mural covered for the wedding to make behind the head table more elegant.

There are also two different camera lighting styles to showcase the images.

We had a Sunday wedding this weekend, which are becoming more and more popular.

Set The Mood Decor provided a white voile backdrop; this is a different style that we do not normally offer but the bride and groom thought that it was very suitable and would look great, it turned out fabulous and may be a new feature backdrop.

We also did draping on the head table and cake table.  The bride a groom wanted their head table to be fancy but still a representation of their two cultures coming together.  The really wanted to incorporate their country flags, which was a first for me!  They were planning on hanging the flags up after the wedding, as a nice memory in their home.  I was skeptical about this concept but I think it turned out great!! and it was so original!!

The second wedding we had the pleasure of decorating this weekend decided on our double layer black and white decor.  Here are a few photo’s that showcase the decor.

To start the decor out was our white satin chair covers with white organza sashes for the ceremony which, were then moved into the reception room.

White Chair CoversInside Set The Mood Decor provided a fancy style backdrop in black and white with of course some brooch crystal embellishments.  The head table was draped in our double layer style, white / black / white, creating some nice color and depth, again completed with crystal brooches.  Spot lights provided a nice glow under the head table and behind the backdrop later in the evening once the sun went down.

So many great shots from this weekend.  We had a fabulous time decorating for Erica and Jason’s second wedding and first at home reception!  It was nice to do something so fresh with some great spring/summer colors.  The location was the Waterside Inn, Mississauga; which has some excellent views of the lake.

Set The Mood Decor provided custom flower balls, which are alternating on the tables; ivory, peach, orange and ivory, peach, sage green.

Working with the room color instead of fighting it; we added sage green polyester napkins with a regular fold but hanging over the table, which you can see very nicely with the fabulous addition of the clear chairs.

This wedding features our New Head Table Option, which is elegant, streamlined, simplistic with a great feel of romance.  As you can see by some of the close-ups there is a strip of very small rosette’s across the top of the fabric for that perfect elegant finish.  Working with the same look we provided a simplistic backdrop that provided the same feel as the head table.  What a romantic look!

What an exciting event to feature! Congrats to the bride and groom on their special day!!

Our final wedding from last weekend was at the Legends Golf Course in Niagara Falls.  Set The Mood Decor provided our fancy style backdrop, head table, cake/dessert table and receiving table draping.  We added some skinny turquoise swag, led lights under the tables and our crystal chandeliers on top of the head table, with some simple vases for the bouquets.  Our Bling money box was featured on the receiving table.

Set The Mood Decor’s second wedding we are featuring from this weekend is our first wedding featuring our chandelier backdrop.  The chandelier for the backdrop was also showcased with our mini chandeliers for the head table, all of these lights had mini LED lighting inside them.  The LED lighting flowed to under the head table as well, bringing the whole look together.

Set The Mood Decor provided the white satin pillowcase style chair covers, which tie nicely in the back to create an elegant flowing look.  The head table / cake table – candy table draping and the receiving table draping.  With skinny light pink satin swag and crystal brooches to complete the look.  Our Bling money box was used on the money table.

This weekend was the beginning of a super busy wedding season!!!  The setup was a classic white look, icicle lights on the head table and cake table with some black and rhinestone embellishments at the focal points.  We also had the opportunity to do our triangle style backdrop, which is not ordered to often, so it was a fabulous change.  We added some of the rhinestone mesh to the backdrop to complete the look, plus it matched the brides centerpieces.  Our finishing touches were the vases for the bouquets at the head table and tulip petals in purple and white.  Thank you to the bride and groom and congrats!  The venue was Club Italia in Niagara Falls.

This wedding is from a few years back.  I thought I would post it as I have had several brides asking about the triangle backdrop style.  This particular wedding was clean and simple yet elegant in all white.  The venue was White Oaks in Niagara On The Lake.

Wow – it has been a very long time since I have done a blog post.  To start of 2013 we got to decorate for an absolutely fabulous lady – Diane.  I first met Diane when I decorated and did flowers for her son and daughter in law. When she started planning her wedding she thought of me; which was a pleasant surprise.

Once we had our consultation I knew Diane was all about pink, bling, sweetheart roses and just plain glam!!!!  So that is what we gave her!  Set The Mood Decor provided the backdrop for the ceremony, with bling at the focal points.  The fresh flower arrangements and the stands, draped and all blinged up with rhinestone mesh at the top of the stands and in the arrangements.  The candelabra’s where the brides great find, which looked amazing.  We also made all of the little pink pew bouquets which where used on the head tables after the ceremony.

In the reception room we just did a little extra adding the ivory organza sashes tied in bows and the bling chair wraps.

On Saturday we had the opportunity to decorate for Julie and it was truly our pleasure.  Julie knew what she wanted right from the start; she saw a double layer wedding from a previous year and she knew that is what she had to have.

So we where more then happy to provide a double layer head table and cake table and a theme colored backdrop in the always classic black and white.

This wedding was held at the CIBC Hall in McMaster University.  They have recently updated their hall and part of the package is the chiavari chairs!!! WOW
