It was our pleasure to decorate a gorgeous wedding full of bling and elegance; this weekend.

The ceremony and reception where at the Stone Mill Ballroom in St. Catharines. The venue is known for the gorgeous stone wall that we tried to work into the draping and still show off.

The ceremony entrance had a little extra flare with some draping that was later turned into the reception backdrop.

We use white rusched chair covers to fancy up the whole look, along with a full rhinestone overlay for the head table.

This year it was our pleasure to decorate for Santa’s visit to Balls Falls Conservation Area. There was a backdrop with red and white hanging icicles for Santa to sit in front of and take photo’s with all of the children.

Two trees decorated to match, some garlands, wreaths and other door accessories to bring in the festive cheer.

We can’t wait to offer more decor for the holiday season next year! We hope everyone is getting into the festive spirit!

We are ending the 2014 year with a BANG! It was our final wedding for 2014 this past Saturday at the Hilton Fallsview and it was beautiful. A big trend that we will see more of next year, is the blush, champagne, ivory color palette.

Set The Mood Decor was happy to do all of the draping in our champagne rose color option; backdrop, head table, cake table and receiving table. We adorned the focal points with rose gold rhinestone brooches, which are new for the upcoming season. The bride opted for the simpler triangle style backdrop.

We also created a ceremony backdrop and large flower arrangements to cover the venues wall and create a focal point for the bride and groom and their photo’s for this special time in their lives.

Along with the huge over sized ceremony arrangements we also created large centerpieces with the classic hydrangea, ivory and blush roses. Their bridal flowers with ivory and blush roses, which matched the whole theme perfectly.

We wish the bride and groom all the best! and we are very happy to have been a part of their special day.

This bride wanted to do something a little different! She opted in making her own burlap bouquets which turned out amazing, so we came up with the idea to do large burlap flowers at the focal points of the head table, cake table and backdrop. Another wonderful wedding Thanksgiving weekend, with a completely different look. A fall theme but very subtle with the love of navy blue added. This bride knew exactly the look that she wanted and added a few fall touches. We provided the chair covers, navy blue organza sashes, head table / cake table draping and backdrop. The Watering Can provided the centerpieces with the fall look and height coming from the curly willows and the candy apples and cake from Bella Cakes. Really what is more fall then local apples made into candy apples!

This weekend was a weekend dedicated to Royal blue but two completely different looks.

The first wedding was a country rustic wedding with a pop of yellow. For the wedding we provided chair covers, sashes and head table draping with icicle lights.

The second wedding was white with just a pop of the royal blue. We provide chair covers, head table draping, backdrop, napkin rings and centerpieces.

Two weeks ago we had the pleasure of decorating at Roma ‘ s Hospitality Center in Mississauga. This venue offers an amazing in house lighting system. You will notice different lighting throughout the photos as it slowly changes.

Our chandelier backdrop matched perfectly with all of the rest of the chandeliers in the room.

This bride wanted colored satin accents on her head table and backdrop; we had so many emails trying to decide if we should do coral or peach. In the end we mixed the colors together and it turned out perfectly.

Set The Mood Decor provided head table and cake table draping, backdrop chandelier and mini chandeliers for the head table. We completed the focal points with coral and peach swags and brooches.

This weekend was a great rendition of spring. We had the pleasure of doing a full service wedding; ceremony decor, bridal flowers, reception decor and centerpieces.

The bridal flowers were a mix of garden roses, carnations and freesia. The centerpieces were the same with dark purple hydrangeas as well.

The ceremony was outdoors so we setup a backdrop to frame out the bride and groom. The weather held up which was a blessing.

The ceremony and reception were at Liuna Gardens. The reception had our fancy style backdrop and classic white draping on all of the tables. Icicle lights on the head table and cake table with candles everywhere. Some finishing touches like mirrors and brooches can be seen in the numerous photos.

Congrats to this wonderful couple.

Elegant Peacock Wedding – A great start to the 2014 wedding season

Last weekend was a great start to the 2014 wedding season with a peacock themed wedding, but with an elegant twist and some perfect pops of color.

The bouquets included white roses, raspberry roses, peacock feathers, dendrobium turquoise orchids, cymbidium green orchids and green hypericum berries. The brides bouquet was completed with crystal embellishments for that little bit of extra bling. The men had a nice matching sequence that of course included peacock feathers. A big thank you to 808 Photography for providing a few of the gorgeous bouquet shots!

The ceremony and reception took place at Marquis Gardens in Anacaster. The ceremony was setup with a sheer white backdrop and a triangle at the focal point to create a focal point to the ceremony. We also included some stands draped in white material with vases and flower balls all dressed up to match the bride and grooms theme. The bride made the pew bows which tied everything together and had the perfect amount of crystal embellishment.

For the reception we added our fancy style chandelier backdrop which followed down onto the head table with our mini chandeliers for the head table. We completed the final touches in the reception with a dendrobium orchid in the centerpiece as well as some rhinestone napkin rings. The bride custom made the chargers for under the centerpiece to bring in the peacock feather.

We are so happy to been a part of this special day for Shauna and James and wish them all the best as husband and wife!

Today was our first 2014 wedding!

Our wedding today was at the Double Tree in Niagara Falls and the brides vision, was white winter, birch, simplistic and elegant. We do really love the look of white and all of her details really completed the look.

Set The Mood Decor provided the head table and receiving table draping, spot lights under the head table and the triangle style backdrop.

The backdrop lighting was provided by AMV Productions. The table runners and the dark grey embellishments around the backdrop and focal points of the head table are from Gala Decor, who had the perfect grey color for the bride.

Congrats to the bride and groom!

I hope their vision came to life on their special day.
