We had a great time doing centerpieces and a backdrop for Dave and Kristi this past weekend. The backdrop was a previous style we used that completely matched their theme. Along with some huge gorgeous centerpieces made of; large hydrangeas, roses, dendrobium orchids, mums and an added touch of crystals. Don’t forget about our special touches of mirrors and rose petals.
This wedding was at Royal Botanical Gardens, which explains all of the gorgeous fresh plants throughout the entire room.

This weekend we had the pleasure of doing a black and white themed wedding. We did a full backdrop, head table and cake table draping. What another classy look.
We used our crystal embellishments to just add that little bit of bling! We had a great time trying this backdrop style which was a different change for us, chosen by the bride and her mother.
You can’t go wrong with black and white!

Red and Black are such rich colors but add in a damask pattern and wow! This was a wedding over the weekend; we decorated with white satin banquet style chair covers, red and black damask sashes, head table and cake table with spot lights and black organza swag. This decor was to match the brides red dress, what a statement.

This weekend that just past we had the opportunity to add a little color into the bride and grooms decor. We added purple satin sashes to the chair covers that the venue supplied. This just can that room a little punch, so instead of it being full white or very white light tones, there was a nice vibrant color. We also did the head table and cake table draping with spot lights and again a punch of purple. Just a little color goes a long way!!!!

We had 2 weddings on Saturday May 8th and they both used our New Crystal Centerpieces for their receptions.
The first wedding was at Liuna Gardens in Stoney Creek; it was a little more simplistic with the centerpiece and NO flower ball. Although it looked gorgeous, especially with the hint of pink from the napkins. Since there is large windows in this room it gave the centerpieces that little extra glow during the day and early evening. We also provided the satin silver table runners and satin chair sashes.
The second wedding was at the Erin Mills Convention Center; the hall in that venue has large chandeliers which match the crystal centerpieces and bring the room together as one. We added the white/ivory flower balls to the crystal centerpieces to give it a different look.

NOT SURE WHAT WILL MAKE THE BIGGEST IMPACT??? Set The Mood Décor believes that any chair covers can give the room that wedding feel. The average venue has horrible chairs; they always seem to be the absolute worst color. The worst we ever saw was bright blue patent leather, ugh. Cover those ugly chairs and that will really transform the whole room! Checkout these before and after photos:

I recently had the opportunity to do a gorgeous centerpiece sample for an upcoming wedding. Hydrangea’s, Roses, Orchids and lots of Crystals…………this is for a princess wedding theme. I can’t wait to see the whole room setup later this year.
