This weekend Set The Mood Decor decorated for a burgundy theme colored wedding. We had a huge head table this weekend, which gave us the opportunity to try something a little different. We decided to take this opportunity to also show the difference when the icicle lights were turned on and not on at all.

We waited a very long time to decorate for one of our weddings this weekend and it was super exciting!! The wedding took place and Hernder Estate Winery, we provide the plum organza sashes and the head table and cake table draping with the icicle lights. Icicle lights are the way to go at this venue as the rest of the room has the icicle lighting as well.
The master pieces of decor that just made the room was the centerpieces! To keep with the theme we went with mason jars with lights and simple crystals in them, large birch sticks (yes, they are brown naturally) with individually wired white and dark purple dendrobium orchids, it was the brides idea to hang the table numbers from the branches. These are delicate but yet rustic!!!
Congrats to the bride and groom, who had absolute perfect weather for their outdoor ceremony!!!

It is rare that we get asked to do a full black draping for the head table and cake table so we were more than happy to do this for the bride and groom for this weekend. The bride had purchased some nice bling candle holders and wanted to mimic them onto her head table. I think it turned out wonderful.
Set The Mood Decor provided full black draping on the head table and cake table with spot light accents. We hung clear crystals at the focal points and completed the look with large crystal brooches. This was the perfect look for the Stone Mill Inn, St. Catharines, with their grey and black room, in matched perfectly.

Saturday we showcased our new willow green organza sashes at our last wedding before fall arrived. The green created a very simple clean look especially with the beige walls in the venue.
Set The Mood Decor provided white satin chair covers with willow green organza sashes. Head Table and Cake Table Draping with icicle lights and sheer white voile; willow green sashes at the focal points along with a nice large brooch to complete the look.

The last wedding we decorated this Saturday was with one of our popular colors, Plum! We provided white satin chair covers and plum satin sashes along with head table and cake table draping in sheer white voile, spot lights, plum satin accents at the focal points and some crystal brooches to complete the look.
We really love a clean and simple look.

It was our pleasure this weekend to decorate for Sheena and her now Husband, congrats to the happy couple. Sheena said at the end of the night everything was PERFECT, the whole day, which is so nice to hear!!!
Set The Mood Decor provided white satin pillowcase style chair covers with lavender satin sashes. The Lavender color was brought up to the tables by using a lavender satin table runner, this just gave a nice amount of color without overpowering the room.
We did our simple white voile draping on the head table and cake table with skinny satin swag to add a pop of the lavender to the head table and cake table, the look was completed with our crystal brooches. We have our LED spot lights for lighting under the head table.
The additional purple lighting was provided by the dj, the centerpieces where are done by the grooms mother – these extras where the perfect touch! Venue: Club Capri in Thorold.

The second wedding we had the pleasure of decorating this weekend decided on our double layer black and white decor. Here are a few photo’s that showcase the decor.
To start the decor out was our white satin chair covers with white organza sashes for the ceremony which, were then moved into the reception room.
Inside Set The Mood Decor provided a fancy style backdrop in black and white with of course some brooch crystal embellishments. The head table was draped in our double layer style, white / black / white, creating some nice color and depth, again completed with crystal brooches. Spot lights provided a nice glow under the head table and behind the backdrop later in the evening once the sun went down.
Last but not least the cake table with the same double layer draping.Congrats to the bride and groom!!!

Last weekend we were happy to go to Belcroft Tree Farm and do the flowers for a wonderful bride. Belcroft is one of our favorite venues, with the gorgeous property, the rustic feeling and the separation from dinning area to dancing area; this venue has so much to offer brides.
This particular bride really wanted to pull off rustic-chic and I think she was successful. From adding the white chairs to all of the mason jars and table runners that she provided herself; it was not to much and not to little.
Set The Mood Decor provided the flowers for the centerpieces and arranged all of them, with the star of the show being the sunflower. The bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets which had a lot of rustic flowers but keeping in the pinks and purples with a touch of light blue.
Our final touch was the 3 yellow daisies that where tucked into each napkin, providing that final touch and completing the overall look.
Congrats to the bride and groom who had the most perfect weather!

Set The Mood Decor had the pleasure of decorating at Queens Landing in Niagara On The Lake, today. We provided our white satin pillowcase style chair covers with black organza sashes. Head table and cake table draping in sheer white voile with spot lights and black organza in the focal points along with crystal embellishments to finish the look.
We also had the pleasure of creating a beautiful bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets. The brides bouquet was approx. 50 mini black calla lilies with black feathers around it as well as black satin ribbon. The bridesmaids had 4 large white calla lilies with black satin ribbon.
Congrats to Michelle and Neo on their special day!
