We don’t do a lot of weddings with crystal curtains; but wow do they look great!

This was a black, white and plum wedding.  The plum was brought in with dendrobium orchids in the centerpieces with a floating candle.  Black and white was alternated throughout all of the decor.

The Beach

With the hot summer who hasn’t been to the beach or been thinking about the beach.

This wonderful bride is in love with the beach and wanted to create an elegant sunset beach theme.  We had so much fun working on this wedding and adding all of the small details and final touches.

The decor included a champagne backdrop / head table draping with sunset themed uplighting.  Coral, starfish and sand dollars created the focal points.

The guest tables had our large white lantern centrepieces accessorized with; coral, seashells, flower blooms, sand and shells.

Congrats to this wonderful couple enjoying the sunsets together for years to come!

Black and White with Silver Accents

There is nothing more classic then black and white; clean, simple and elegant.

The couples day started with a custom altar.  Instead of a backdrop or altar stands; a table adorned with candles, roses and draping; lets not forget the silver accents.

Black chair covers contrasted the white table clothes, with a black napkin, a custom black glitter place card for each guest.  Silver candelabras, mini vases with roses and more candles in votives.  You can never have to many candles!!!

Head Table Draping and a Backdrop completed the focal point of the room and don’t forget the silver accents for that little extra finishing touch.

We were so happy to have the opportunity to do some of the things we do not normally offer; the altar table, place cards and seating chart.

Congrats to the couple and we wish them all the best for their marriage and future!

Decorators, stylists, florists, photographers; brides and grooms are all in love with barn weddings!!!

It was our pleasure to create an open drape backdrop for last weeks couple.  All of the brides hard work painting the chandelier gold that we hung was well worth it.  The final outcome was gorgeous and stunning.  Some flower accessories added at the focal points from the florist and we have a completed look!

Kings table’s can be great for conversation as well as a great option to do something a little different.  The most important thing when doing a king’s table is the details.  Because there are many tables put together you must accessories the tables very well to have a completed look with different elements and dimensions.

The bride from the past weekend had a perfect plan for just that!  Take a look up close at all of the details.

We had the pleasure of helping complete this look with a classic ruffled drape and a trim.  The bride loved the rustic simplistic look of the Woods sheer material that we offer, so we went with that in a trim and then a full overlay for the cake table.

A set of 3 series candles on the floor in front of the head table and the look was complete. Bringing a simplistic, elegant, romantic and slightly rustic look to life.

With subtle plum accents this elegant white wedding came to life.

The ceremony was held at Royal Niagara Golf Club, Niagara On The Lake; with a view of the greens in the background.  The couple opted for a ceremony backdrop to create a nice focal point for their vows. Some altar stands were added with fresh flowers to complete this look.  White rushed chair covers accented by custom made pew bows by the brides family and the room was ready for wedding!

The reception followed at the Stone Mill Ballroom, St.Catharines.  A smaller backdrop just to cover the door behind the head table but not covering too much of the featured stoned wall.  A little sequins goes a long way with simple draping that is accented with plum sequins. A plum satin table cloth for the guest tables and white rushed chair covers again completing the look.

We love classic white elegance and we were so happy when this bride wanted that exact look.  This clean and simple look features our white rusched chair covers, head table draped with sheer white voile and large crystal brooches at the focal points.  An extra large backdrop covered the full length of the head table and full height of the wall; creating a huge focal point for this loving couple and their bridal party.  What a gorgeous wedding day at Legends On The Niagara for this loving couple, their friends and family.

We know everyone is loving their sequins this year and the bride from last weekend was no exception.  Keeping it toned down for the groom; which was a great compromise, she opted for a navy blue sequin.  A bold elegant color and not too girly.

A simple white satin pillowcase style chair cover for that complete wedding feel; along with a white napkin for a clean classic look but a nice contrast from the navy blue table clothes, which had a subtle texture.

A triangle style backdrop with icicle lights for a little rustic, organic, country feel; subtly added some lighting that matched all the candles throughout the room.  The backdrop was also a great feature to just accent the amazing stone wall, that is really the feature at the Stone Mill Ballroom.

The stunning bold large centerpieces were provided by the Watering Can, St.Catharines; which really brought the room to life and helped to give it a grand feel.

Congrats to this amazing bride and groom, who travelled all the way from Alberta to celebrate this wonderful day with their friends and family!  Best Wishes!

Navy Blue and Lavender

Navy Blue and Lavender a color combo that you don’t see to often!!!!

It was more then a pleasure working with this brave bride that took our professional advise and kept the pop of lavender in her wedding decor.  When a bright pop of color is brought in subtly and in the right way it can make a perfect statement and change a look greatly.

For this particular wedding we created a full size backdrop, triangle style; head table and cake table draping with icicle lights.  The room was highlighted in a purple under toned uplighting, bringing out the lavender napkins a little more.

Chair covers and navy blue satin sashes finished the look with full length navy blue satin table clothes.

The centerpieces are really what gave the room the extra WOW and some height – these were made by The Watering Can in Vineland and they were fabulous!!!!!

This wedding took place at the Stone Mill Ballroom in St.Catharines.

This weekend set off the beginning of peek wedding season for Set The Mood Decor.  We started off with a soft romantic wedding a the stunning Legends On The Niagara.

We provided our; Fancy Lace Ivory/Gold Overlays for all of the guest tables, sure to make a statement.  For the head table we switched it up and used the Fancy Lace Overlays in Champagne.

For the grand focal point were the bride and groom we sitting, a large swooped backdrop in our Fancy Style a large crystal brooch at the focal point to complete the look.  Bringing everything together is very important so the cake table was also draped in the same material as the backdrop; with a classic Side Swoop Drape and brooch of course.  We are in love with the side swoop!

A finishing touch the blush bowtie napkin, pearl napkin rings provided by the bride.
