Set The Mood Decor was happy to set up centerpieces for an 18th birthday yesterday.
The party was held at Versailles Convention Center in Mississauga.
Instead of adding our mirror underneath the centerpiece the customer decided to use red feathers around it.
The whole room looked great, thanks to family and friends of the guest of honor.

It drives me crazy!!! I have found another vendor using my photo’s to represent their work.
(I actually think it is a vendor I have had this problem with in the past) – designs2impress
To all of you brides make sure that you research your vendors and check their websites, blogs, personal portfolio and even their testimonials and referrals on all social networking sites.
I work very hard to create gorgeous work and other companies should do the same. If you have nice work you should not have to steal other people’s photos of their work.
Warning do your research on all of your vendors!!!!

We have found gorgeous wedding accessories, brooch’s and hair pieces and more to come. We have decide to start introducing brooch’s as we have seen that the custom brooch bouquet is becoming more and more popular. I have also had several brides tell me that they are having a hard time finding that perfect hair piece…so we have found some. There are many more styles available other then what is on the website so always inquire.

The past weekend we had a great time decorating for a peacock theme wedding!! We waited all year for this gorgeous wedding. We provided all of the floral bouquets, boutonniere’s and corsage’s. We also provided all of the centerpieces and decor.
The bride wanted something to make a statement so we did centerpieces with mixed flowers and peacock feathers. To stay on budget, but still create a gorgeous effect we did tall/short on alternating tables. The flowers that where incorporated where; green spider mums, green cymbidium orchids; turquoise/purple dendrobium orchids, white roses and for finishing mixed greens and peacock feathers. (The darker blue and burgundy flowers where faux flowers. This is a great way to mix in some of the colors that may be hard to find in real flowers at a great cost. The bridal bouquet also have burgundy mini calla lilies.
For decor we put on some white chair covers with navy blue satin sashes; we brought a little more navy blue in the table runners. We draped the head table and cake table with sheer white linen and added some additional flowers on the head table for that extra finishing look.
What a gorgeous statement!!!
This wedding took place at the gorgeous – Oakview Terrace.

Here are some photo’s from another wedding that I did this weekend.
White with a bit of Purple, it looked very refreshing.
This wedding we did a backdrop, head table and cake table draping with icicle lights. We also had the pleasure of setting up our crystals centerpieces with the white flower balls. We added a couple purple flowers in different shades and a little purple in the bottom of the vase, just to bring in a little more of the purple theme.
This beautiful wedding was at the Niagara Falls Hilton, it was a pleasure working with the staff there.

We had a great time doing centerpieces and a backdrop for Dave and Kristi this past weekend. The backdrop was a previous style we used that completely matched their theme. Along with some huge gorgeous centerpieces made of; large hydrangeas, roses, dendrobium orchids, mums and an added touch of crystals. Don’t forget about our special touches of mirrors and rose petals.
This wedding was at Royal Botanical Gardens, which explains all of the gorgeous fresh plants throughout the entire room.
